Mt. Etna Revised and Concise Seismic Catalog from 1999 (EtnaRCSC)
The catalog lists the Etna's earthquakes located by the seismic network managed by Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia - Osservatorio Etneo - Sezione di Catania since 1999. The locations of the earthquakes are published in the following working day of the event and represent the best estimate of the hypocenter parameters; any changes can be made later, without warning, if necessary.
The locations are carried out by the software Hypoellipse 2.0 (Lahr, 1989), using different crustal velocity models depending on the source area: Hirn et al., (1991) for Mount Etna and Sicily north-eastern-southern Calabria, Jeffreys and Bullen (1967) to the Aeolian archipelago, Musumeci et al., (2003) to the south-east Sicily.
